Growing up, I often noticed how caregiving responsibilities disproportionately fell on women. It made me question why becoming a parent so often meant having to put professional aspirations on hold.

I graduated from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University, and later from IIM Ahmedabad. I built Nello to solve a problem that millions of families face every day: finding childcare they can truly trust.

What types of care do you offer?
Three schedules: 8-hour, 10-hour, and 24-hour care. Pick what suits your family — the subscription fee is the same for all three.
Is there a subscription fee?
Yes — ₹6,999 for a 3-month subscription, ₹11,999 for a 6-month subscription, or ₹19,999 for a 12-month subscription. Payable to Nello at match confirmation, before the nanny joins. The nanny stays with your family for the subscription period; after that, renew through Nello to keep her, or she returns to our network.
What's covered by the subscription fee?
Sourcing, three-point background verification, matching, travel to your home, ongoing support, and free replacements during your plan period.
What if the nanny isn't the right fit?
We replace her at no extra cost during your plan period. Tell us and we'll send another shortlist.
What happens after 3, 6 or 12 months?
You can renew with Nello for another 3-, 6- or 12-month plan (a fresh subscription fee applies). If you don't renew, the nanny returns to Nello's network and moves on to another family. You cannot continue engaging her privately outside Nello — see our Terms & Conditions for details.
Can I hire the nanny outside Nello?
No. Nello nannies work exclusively through Nello. Hiring, retaining, or receiving services from a Nello nanny outside of an active Nello plan is a breach of our Terms & Conditions.
Can I cancel the plan early?
You can cancel with 15 days' written notice. A prorated refund on the subscription fee is offered in case of genuine issues (family emergency, medical, relocation, or Nello's inability to provide a replacement).
What does verification include?
Three checks on every nanny: government ID, court (criminal and civil) records, and a CIBIL financial screening where a PAN card is available. We share the results with you, and we also do an in-person assessment.
Do you take families with newborns under 3 months?
Not yet. We start with babies aged 3 months and older. Please come back to us when your little one is 3 months old — we'll be here.
